The SAEE President, Karel Steyn announced its new Executive Committee members for 2016-2017 at the annual Gala Banquet and Energy Awards evening on Wednesday.

The SAEE President, Karel Steyn announced the SAEE’s new Executive Committee members for 2016-2017 at the SAEE Annual Gala Banquet and Energy Awards evening held on Wednesday, 11 November 2015 at Emperors Palace, Johannesburg.  The new committee members are a proven and established group of leaders dedicated to helping the Association ensure that energy efficiency is a priority for all sectors of the economy.
 
“Our new Board is comprised of vastly talented people who deal with energy related challenges on a daily basis,” said Karel Steyn.
 
Karel says that these individuals are committed to improving the energy challenges in new and innovative ways that will impact not only our people but also our economy.  
 
The New Executive Committee Members are:
 

 

 
“I’d like to thank Sydney Zeederberg and Johann Venter for their invaluable input during their tenure as Committee members, and warmly welcome Valerie Geen and Keith Cassie as new members to the Committee.  Hope Mashele who was voted back in, with Cannina Mapena who’s temporary appointment has now been formalised to be permanent, are both welcomed back. It is great to have your knowledge and skills back with us. Our Committee is made up of knowledgeable people in the field of energy efficiency and it is an honour and privilege for me to work with people of this caliber.
 
I am excited about the opportunity to work with such a skilled and diverse group of members who share a passion for ensuring energy efficiency is a priority for all sectors of the economy,” concluded Karel.
