The 2015 SAEEC was Outstanding!
The annual SAEE Convention was held at Emperors Palace on 11-12 November.
Attended by over 200 senior figures, including energy users, energy efficiency experts and policy makers, delegates came together to gain critical insights and set the agenda on energy efficiency.
“The realisation of this year’s Convention demonstrates the importance and priority given to energy efficiency related topics whilst identifying and acknowledging those who play active, dynamic and pioneering roles in building a more climate-friendly and energy-efficient economy,” commented Karel Steyn, President of the SAEE and host of this year’s Convention entitled 10 Powerful Years.
In addition to the main Convention, the 2015 Energy Awards were presented during the Gala Banquet, recognising excellence in energy efficiency.
“The Convention was structured to present key information through keynote and guest speakers, presentations, posters and interactive panel discussions on relevant and critical topics, and I believe we delivered on all of our objectives.
“Sincere and heartfelt thanks are in order to our valued contributors in many forms, our speakers and presenters, sponsors, exhibitors, academia, delegates, board members and support staff. Your generosity and interest in our Convention this year was of great value.
