The 2015 Exhibitors at the SAEEC
It takes thoughtful planning to host an exhibition stand at a Convention and the exhibitors at the SAEE Convention this year did just that.
Companies and individuals gave added value to Convention delegates. The exhibitions were a rich source of information and ideas. Delegates were updated on a host of new energy efficiency services and products in our exclusive exhibition hub space.
“Our exhibitors play an integral part of the Convention activity each year. Delegates benefitted from the exhibition resources and interactive aspect of the networking space,” commented Erika Kruger, Organiser of the 2015 SAEEC.
Exhibitions were of an exceptionally high standard. The Award for best exhibition went to Swisscontact who partnered with the Clay Brick Association of Southern Africa (CBA) to present a unique and engaging environment for delegates. A pedestal made from energy efficient clay bricks was built on the stand attracting much interest and conversation.
Swisscontact, the business-oriented independent foundation for international development co-operation, has collaborated with the CBA Clay Brick Association, the industry body that represents all member manufacturers, on the Energy Efficient Clay Brick Project (EECB) to host a half-day workshop specifically for this sector. The ultimate objective of the EECB is to foster sustained and broad-based energy efficiency in order to lower Green House Gas emissions. Great strides have been made towards improving the understanding of energy efficiency in this sector and the possible impacts of a possible future carbon tax.
